I left for Vegas this morning for Caroline's bachelorette party. Last night, when I told Lily that they'd be dropping me off at the airport in the morning, she burst into tears. She asked why I was leaving? I told her that I was going to see my friend because I miss her. Lily asked me, "Are you going to live with her?" She was so upset! We had to go to her calendar and write "Mama home" on the Sunday box. I told her I'd call her, but she wanted me to call on the computer so she can see Caroline too. She cried when they dropped me off and assured me that she'd be "so sad the whole time!" Ben said, "Bye Mama. JET!! JET!!"

When life gives you lemons

Miss Lily and I met some friends on campus to see a children's concert. It turns out that everyone and their kids showed up and there were no enough seats in the venue. So we got kicked out. No worries though. On the way home, Lily and I discovered the golf cart full of cookies for intermission. We snatched some cookies and ran, giggling the whole way. For some reason, Lily seemed so grown up that day. I couldn't stop taking pictures of her.
