Graduation Weekend II

There was a band at the party Friday and we were the best (only) dancers.
Lily & Allison tore it up out there and Lily got to dance with 2 Papa's that night!

Graduation Weekend

The weekend of my graduation was better than I had ever imagined. We had a few days of festivities and we are still recovering from it! My Dad (Papa Mustache) got here on Tuesday, during my math final. He brought his bike, so he rode over to our house when I got home. After my WPNS meeting that night, we went out for a few beers to celebrate the end of math class. It was really nice having my Dad here to watch the kids that week. We were so busy and it was great to have that help. One day, he took Ben for a bike ride to the fire station and Ben actually got to ride on the fire truck. Yeah, pretty much Ben heaven. On Friday, I went to pick my cousin Margaret up from the airport and her brother Brett surprised me and came with her! They all hung out while I went to the Mother's day tea at Lily's school. Then, Tom, Maryann, Jimmy & Molly got in and came over. We all went to the party after the graduation mass on campus. It was a little toned down this year, but still very fancy.

I know this has a little Ike & Tina flair, but its still one of my favorite photos of us :)

Little Matty's b-day

Ben plays with our neighbor Matty every Thursday while I take Lily to ballet. The entire ballet studio is thankful as Ben HATES going to ballet and makes it very well known. Matty turned 3 a few weeks ago and threw a rockin' party.

Jenny, Matty & Lil (who insisted on wearing pj's under her shirt)

This was the most epic day for Lily. She broke the pinata!! She was so proud. When it broke, she just dropped the stick and threw her hands into the air in victory.

Takin' it down

That is the look of pure joy.

So proud!

Emma & Lucas

Emma & Lucas are twins that go to our school. We have become reealy close with their family this year. Their parents, Gus & Lisa are really great people to be around and our kids just love each other. Lily & Emma are BFF and Ben is obsessed with Lucas. He follows Lucas around shouting LUKEYYYYYYY, LUKEYYYYYY!!!!!!

Matt & Lucas were racing down the hill

Lily wore Emma's Dora PJ's for 3 days

Ben can be found following Lucas at school, trying everything he does.

Big Ole Bubba

Ben's getting so big and changing so much. He is quite a handful, but always cracking us up!

He loves Gracie (she-she dog)

He loves going to school with Lily.

Loves napping with Daddy

And entertaining people at the post office

How much to ship this to Chicago??

Easter '10

Ben broke a lot of eggs

Lily made lot's of pink and purple eggs

Sick Kids

We made it all the way to April without illness this year. We thought we had escaped the sick season all together and then BAM! Lily threw up for 2 days. It took her so long to get better, it was horrible. She was such a trooper though.

3 hour nap on day 3

Smiling in her sleep :)

Thought the rest of us escaped the bug and then, 6 days later.....
Bubba down!

Some random pics

Grace, Mallie & Lily at school
Grace is the little sister of a little boy, Jack, at school. She loves Lily and follows her everywhere. Grace is so excited that Lily is HER friend and not one of Jack's leftovers. Of course, Lily loves having a little sidekick and someone to boss around. :)

Nice dress. Maybe he's a gladiator?

Ben slept through this!!! It was so sad.

What's up hip hop?

St. Pat's @ School

Wow, I have really gotten behind here. This is some backlog from March (now that it is May).
It seems that I always work at school on St. Pat's. I love it!
Ben hard at work. The kid loves tape.

Teacher Jessica helping the kids make shamrock shakes. (Pineapple chunks were golden nuggets)

Lily shared the cookies the Leprechaun left her.

Erik approves of the shake :)
